About PixelSize Tools

PixelSize Tools is a small, independent website with free tools for everyday image jobs: getting a photo under an upload limit, resizing to exact pixels, and converting between JPG, PNG and WebP. It is run by an independent founder.

How the tools work

All processing happens in your web browser using the image features browsers already have: decoding, a drawing canvas and built-in image encoders. When native WebP encoding is unavailable, a self-hosted WebP encoder runs locally in a background worker using WebAssembly; its files are loaded from this website’s own origin. There is no server-side image processing, no account system and no database. Your images are not uploaded, stored or seen by us.

What we promise

• No watermarks and no sign-up.
• File sizes and dimensions you see are measured from the real output file.
• If a tool can't do what you asked, it says so.
• No misleading download buttons. The only download buttons on a tool page are for your own processed files.

Future plans

To keep the site free we may add clearly labelled advertising in the future. Ads will never be placed inside the tools or disguised as download buttons, and we'll update the privacy policy before anything changes.
