What this tool does

Batch resize applies one rule to every image you add, up to 50 files. Each image is resized, saved and checked, then the next one starts, which keeps memory use low enough for phones. When all are done you can download them individually or together as a ZIP built in your browser.

Sizing rules

RuleWhat happensExample
WidthEvery image gets this width; height follows the proportions.4000×3000 → 1200×900
HeightEvery image gets this height; width follows.3000×4000 → 900×1200
Max boxEach image is scaled to fit inside W × H without distortion. Landscape and portrait both fit.box 1200: 4000×3000 → 1200×900
PercentEach side is scaled by the same percentage.50%: 2000×1000 → 1000×500
Exact sizeEvery output is exactly W × H; choose crop, fit or stretch.→ 1000×1000

Don't enlarge smaller images leaves an image at its original size if the rule would make it bigger.

When it's useful

  • Preparing a set of product photos at the same width for an online shop.
  • Shrinking a folder of camera photos before sharing or archiving.
  • Making uniform square thumbnails for a gallery.

How to use it

  1. Choose or drop your images. You can add more in several goes.
  2. Pick a rule and enter the size.
  3. Choose an output format and quality.
  4. Press Resize all, then Download all as ZIP.

Limitations

  • Up to 50 files and 300 MB total per batch; 50 MB per file.
  • A file that can't be read is reported and skipped; the rest of the batch continues.
  • Files with the same name get a number added inside the ZIP so nothing is overwritten.
  • ZIP files are stored without extra compression because images are already compressed.
