What this tool does
Choose one image and tick the sizes you need. The tool makes a separate file for each, at the exact pixel dimensions listed, and offers them as individual downloads or a ZIP. Crop to fill scales the photo to cover the frame and trims the overflow from the side you choose; Fit with border keeps the whole picture and adds bars.
For YouTube thumbnails, the tool also checks the result against YouTube's 2 MB upload limit and warns you if a PNG goes over it.

How to use it
- Choose a high-resolution image, ideally at least as large as the biggest size you need.
- Tick the sizes you want.
- Choose Crop to fill and which part to keep, or Fit with border.
- Press Create images and download.
Tips
- Keep faces and text away from the edges: crops for 9:16 Stories remove a lot of a landscape photo's sides.
- Thumbnails are viewed small. Big, high-contrast text reads better than fine detail.
- JPG keeps file sizes low. Use PNG only for graphics with flat colours and text.
Limitations
- Cropping is automatic from the chosen side; there is no manual crop box in this release.
- Small source images are enlarged to fit the preset and may look soft. You'll see a note when that happens.
- One source image at a time. Use Batch resize for many images at one size.
