Your images

When you choose an image in one of our tools, your browser reads it from your device and processes it in memory. The processed result is created on your device and saved when you press download. The image-processing tools run locally in your browser and do not use an image-upload service. Application files and the self-hosted WebP encoder, worker and WebAssembly resources may be loaded from this website’s own origin. The processing pages’ Content Security Policy permits same-origin resource connections and restricts connections to other websites; it does not block all network activity. Browser extensions you have installed operate outside our control and may be able to read pages you visit. When you close or reload the page, the images are discarded from the browser's memory.

Data we do process

Hosting logs. Like any website, the server that delivers our pages receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Netlify uses technical request information to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Emails. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep it as long as needed to handle your request. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or steps toward a contract if relevant.

Cookies and local storage

We don't set cookies. If you use the light/dark mode switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device so the site remembers it. It is never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings.

Third parties

The application includes no external fonts, analytics or advertising. For browsers without native WebP encoding, we serve an open-source WebP encoder from this same website. It runs on your device in a background worker. Netlify may also serve a hosting-added badge or site UI from this website’s origin. The hosting provider receives ordinary requests for website files, including application and encoder resources. These resource requests are separate from local image processing.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold, object to or restrict processing, and request data portability. Where applicable, you can exercise these rights by writing to contact@pixelsize.tools. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, such as Portugal’s CNPD.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, for example by adding advertising or analytics, we'll update this page before the change takes effect and, where required, ask for your consent.
